Integrations

DeckBuild works with the tools you already use.

Your versions, takeoffs and estimates don't have to stay in DeckBuild. Send sold jobs to your CRM, start the material order the moment a deck sells, and let your proposal tool or AI assistant read the numbers. Nobody keys anything in twice.

Deck builder software integrations

No double entry. Nothing forgotten.

CRM

Send sold jobs to your CRM.

When a customer signs or a version is sold, DeckBuild tells your CRM right away, with the job, the customer and the totals. Your pipeline stays current without anyone copying it over.

Ordering

Order materials the moment a version is sold.

A sale can kick off your full material order automatically; nothing for you to do, the material order is done for you. Your tool pulls the purchase list, every item and quantity, plus the material order files you already send your yard.

Proposals

Feed your proposal tool.

Like the proposal or e-sign tool you use now? It can read the estimate, the payment schedule and the proposal PDF straight from DeckBuild.

AI assistants

Let an AI assistant read your estimates.

Point your favorite AI agent at your jobs and ask it what you quoted, what's still unsigned, or how two takeoffs compare. Everything that DeckBuild has can be read by your AI agent.

What DeckBuild can connect to

If it can call an API, it can talk to DeckBuild.

DeckBuild has an open, documented API. One connection works for any tool. Use existing plug-ins or build custom ones.

  • AI agents and assistants
  • Automation platforms like Zapier and Make, through their webhook and HTTP steps
  • Your CRM or proposal tool, if it accepts webhooks or calls APIs
  • Custom scripts and spreadsheets

No setup needed

Not ready for an API? You already have exports.

Every takeoff exports to CSV or Excel, proposals export to PDF, and your full permit-ready plans export to PDF. Use the “Send to Lumberyard” button to email your lumberyard automatically your full material takeoff in one click.

How it works

Connected in three steps.

  1. 01

    Create a key

Create a key in Settings > Company > API, adding necessary permissions.

  2. 02

    Connect your tool

Paste the key into your automation, AI assistant or script, or hand it to your developer. The tool can now read your jobs, versions and estimates.

  3. 03

    Get notified

Add a webhook and DeckBuild sends your tool a notice the moment something happens, like a proposal being signed or a version being sold.

What's included

What your tools can read, and when they hear about it.

Your tools can read

  • Jobs and their customers
  • Every version of each job
  • Material takeoffs and purchase lists
  • Estimates and labor
  • Proposals and their status
  • Payment schedules
  • Material orders sent to your yard
  • Downloads of proposal PDFs, drawings and order files

DeckBuild tells them when

  • A job is created, updated or archived
  • A proposal is sent, viewed, signed, completed or declined
  • A payment is recorded
  • A version is sold

Security

You decide what each tool sees.

Your data only

Locked to your company.

A key reads your company's data and nothing else.

Read-only

Nothing changes in DeckBuild.

Connected tools can read, never edit or delete. A buggy script or a confused AI assistant can't touch your versions, prices or proposals.

Scoped permissions

Prices without your margin.

Each key gets only the permissions you choose. A proposal tool can see what the customer pays without ever seeing your costs, labor rates or margin. Revoke a key any time.

Signed notices

Every notice is signed.

Each webhook carries a signature your tool can check, so it knows the notice came from DeckBuild and nobody changed it on the way.

Settings > Company > API

Every key, in plain view.

Each tool gets its own key, and you see what it can read, when it last called and how often. Here the proposal tool reads jobs, estimates and proposal documents, and never your internal costs. Revoke a key with one click.

For developers

Handing this to a developer?

Send them to the DeckBuild API docs. A standard REST API with JSON, an OpenAPI description, signed webhooks and a live explorer to try requests with a real key.
